New details emerge on 57-home development for huge Leicestershire estate
New details have emerged on a 57-home development on a huge Leicestershire estate. Outline plans have already been approved, with planning chiefs on Blaby District Council (BDC) set to give the go ahead for the latest phase of the New Lubbesthorpe scheme.
The detailed proposals from David Wilson Homes, one of the developers involved in the wider project, look at the appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of the development which comprises 57 homes. Of those proposed, 46 houses will be listed for sale on the open market, while 11 will be affordable homes.
Ultimately, some 4,250 homes will fill New Lubbesthorpe when all phases of building are complete. This is expected to be completed over the next decade. Health services, shops, eateries, schools and nurseries will all be part of the major development.
